About Me
I am an Integrative Bodywork and Movement Therapist (dipIBMT), Reiki, Sound Healing practitioner and cellist. My path into healing began unexpectedly after a life-threatening lung infection, which resulted in having to literally relearn how to breathe after losing a major part of my right lung. The experience left me broken and with unanswered questions from the medical system. Eventually, I was "recovered" by medical standards but I still felt profoundly broken in ways I could not understand — but at the same time, something deep within me was pulling me forwards. This led me into a deep journey of true recovery — physically, emotionally, and spiritually, where I learned the interconnected nature of healing and well-being. This was a turning point in my life that redirected my path. Coming from a classical music background, it transformed my relationship with music, my instrument (the cello), with myself, with nature — and from this arose a calling to share what I learned and hold space for others on their own personal journeys of growth and healing.
I trained in Somatic Psychology, Authentic Movement, Infant and Developmental Movement Patterns and Body Systems from BMC®, Usui Reiki, Shamanic Healing, Humanistic Counselling, Sound Healing, and Subtle Bodywork. My work bridges ancient healing arts and modern somatic practices, drawing on influences from Taoism, Celtic traditions, Insight Herbalism, and contemporary trauma-informed care.
I offer 1:1 sessions, group sound healing events, nature and plant connection workshops, and retreats, creating spaces where people can reconnect to nature, their bodies, access inner resources, and rediscover their innate capacity for healing. The cello, once the centre of my professional life, became part of this work too — a vibrational instrument I now bring into sound healing and contemplative performance spaces.
