Somatic Therapy Sessions

Each session is shaped entirely around where you are. There is no fixed agenda, no predetermined destination — just a carefully held space for deeper meeting with yourself. What this work asks is a genuine willingness to turn toward your own experience, with curiosity.

Ground

Arrival and Safety

Somatic therapy offers a gentle, body-based approach to healing that begins with creating safety, grounding, and trust in your own experience. Each session is shaped around where you are, guided by consent, curiosity, and the body’s natural pace. Together, we explore subtle cues, sensations, and movements that can reveal deeper layers of your story. This work supports you in reconnecting with your inner resources and sense of wholeness.

Inquiry

Process and Sense

This work involves a process of somatic inquiry and deep sensing—attuning to the body’s subtle cues to access insight, integration, and release. Sessions may include hands-on touch, movement exploration, and guided internal dialogue, all shaped by a co-create space of dialogue and consent. Theories and frameworks that support this process include Polyvagal Theory, Process-Oriented Psychology, Authentic Movement, Body-Mind Centering®, Grof’s Perinatal Matrix, Parts Work, and Inner Body Dialogue. This work honours the body’s timing and intelligence and recognises that healing is not only psychological but also deeply existential and spiritual. It is a path of reclaiming agency, restoring wholeness, and reconnecting with the vital essence of who you are.

Integration

Movement and Stillness

Integration is an essential part of the therapeutic process, allowing time for the body to settle and assimilate what has emerged. Sessions end with space for reflection—through intuitive movement, quiet stillness, or simple rest—depending on what feels most supportive in the moment. These closing moments are about allowing, not doing, giving your system the chance to process and restore balance.

Online sessions follow the same process and hold the same depth as in-person work. Rather than hands-on touch, we work with guided self-touch, movement exploration, dialogue, and parts work.
